Melanie L. Adams, MD is a board-certified dermatologist who has been in private, solo practice since September 2005. She is a highly respected practitioner serving the men and women of Columbia, Maryland and surrounding areas. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology, Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and Fellow of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.
Dr. Adams received her undergraduate degree from Boston University and a Master’s Degree in Public Health and Tropical Medicine from Tulane University. She earned her Medical Degree from Hahnemann University School of Medicine (currently known as Drexel University School of Medicine). Her internship was completed at the Medical College of Pennsylvania. She completed a Clinical Fellowship in Immunodermatology HIV-Related Skin Diseases at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, Tx. Dr. Adams completed her Residency in Dermatology at Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C. and a Dermatopathology Fellowship at Roger Williams Medical Center, an Affiliate of Boston University School of Medicine.
Dr. Adams is a highly respected physician providing quality care including skin exams, mole excisions, and cosmetic dermatology services.
